Anyone here ever changed out the upper and/or lower ball joints on a 98 Frontier 4X4. I had a mechanic tell me that I'd have to change out both upper and lower arms to do this. It sounds like a load of sh*& to me. Can anyone confirm my suspicion?

I don't know about the Frontier, but did you look at them? My 97 pickup 4x4 has the ball joints bolted in to the upper and lower arms. Looks just like they did in the older autos when you just needed a hammer and a ball joint fork.
