heard a tinny sort of noise for a few minutes, from just in front of driver, under hood. then white smoke and engine turned off. small fire under hood, put out. electrical system OK, in that all gauges come on when key is turned. engine will not start. had oil change 10 days ago. new tires, also. listening to Beatles #1 Hits in CD player. cell phone charger plugged in. early diagnosis by brother is short/burned insulation, easy fix.
