Seatbelt Switch

Mar 13, 2006 3 Replies

I have to replace the seatbelt (driver side buckle) on my 89 SR5V6.

I notice the wire to a switch in the buckle.

Where does this wire terminate and how difficult will it be to replace the assembly?

Thanks,

Norm

In my 95 SR5 pickup the wire in the driver's side seat belt is for a little seat belt warning light icon on the dash board. Is yours the same?

It should terminate at a connector under the seat. Be sure to check under the carpet near the slit for the wire to pass through.

Thanks,

Got the new part and it has a connector at the end of the wire. Should be real simple.
