I will be needing to put tires on my Land Cruiser soon and I'd love to hear what you think about the various tires branded "AT" that are really just beefed-up street tires. I don't want to go even as aggressive as say a BFG AT, for example, for this vehicle.
My priorities are:
wet pavement
snow and ice
overall strength
longetevity and noise
mud
....in that order I guess. I would like a strong tire because it's a heavy vehicle and it will see some rocky terrain. I'd like it to last long and run quiet but MOST of all I want it to to kick ass on wet pavement, packed snow, and do as well as can be expected on ice.
I have used BFG AT's and I do like that tire, but that was on a Jeep. They would be a good reference point if comparing brands! But i am thinking more like the "AT's" I see on SUV's everywhere, or the ones on the Land Cruiser now (Michelan TLX's I believe).
Thanks!!!
