Thanks to Ant and Gary for your input on this idea, it looks like the Porsche 901 5- speed trans is located behind the engine on both 4 and 6 cylinder models, so now I wonder about crankshaft and ring gear rotation, the article you refer to, shows me how to fit the trans, but makes no mention about this question, or am I just missing a basic fact here?
