Do not, do not order, purchase a long block here...listen to me. Nov 16 of 22 I ordered/purchased a 1600cc VW long block after watching the youtube video...very impressive. Fooled me. The website says to expect 16/21 weeks before they start on an engine...But, it never gives a completion date. So, about 4/5 months later I asked for a finish date. "We are running a little behind, same answer a few months later. Then they blame the delay on covid. Advertise...we have orders from all over the world! Nine months later...no engine, "We are running a little behind".
I received a pic of my finished order with the Empi Dist installed...Black cap. I also rec'd a pic of my engine being hot run...then I noticed a different Dist on the engine red cap. Before the hot run, I said I wanted zinc added for the hot run. The hot run shows oil pressure low, this is concerning.
Hot run was delayed..raining...huh! Seems as tho they cannot run outside when it is raining...no vent from inside...and they are filling orders worldwide. I asked if zinc was used in the run..."We use 3w oil". A no answer for sure. I cnl'd my order and a restocking of $600 was deducted from my $3500 order. Said refund thru PP. No PP, it took a month for the check to get here. Ending... Why was my dist not used during the hot run? My engine??? Why only hot runs if wx permitting? The 1 year warranty, you have to pay shipping back to them, about $350.00, god only knows when you'll get it back...you have to pay to ship back to you. Cannot drag the engine run..sorry
Got my check yesterday..why not PP, I did not ask. World Wide huh...do not buy from this company. ctc me here and i'll get you the run film.
