A couple weeks ago a was in an accident with my 71 bug. The body shop had to pull the front end out a couple inches in order to get the new fenders and hood to fit. Now that I got it back, the brake lights don't work, the dash lights don't work, the turn signals will stay on if I turn off the car and take the key out and when the car is not running, the green turn signal indicator stays on. Is there a ground somewhere that they missed that I should look for or something that might perhaps lead me in the right direction before I start testing all the electrical wires for current?
Electrical problem... this is a good one.

Start by replacing the fuses, EVEN if they "look" good. Clean the fuse holder contacts as well.
Is this a Std or a Super?
Does the horn work?
Push/Pull the 4-way Hazard switch a few times and see if that makes any difference.
If you e-mail me with as many clues as possible, I'll try to help sort it.

Sounds to me like they shuffled the wires on the fuse block. That could be a chore.
