?engine install

Ok I want to install the engine into the 77. The flywheel has some teeth gruond down some. However this will be a temp engine until I get my truck paid off and can get a new engine for it. So it won't be that long. The truck will be paid off in about 8.5 months. This will only be driven locally at first to work out any bugs other than the engine. Should I get a new preasure plate throw out bearing clutch or use what I have? How can it be checked? Also do I need to get a new flywheel? This one shows some wear. I would like to get by without for now if at all possible. Pics of it are here

I get it thru inspection I will be stripping it back down to put thebaja kit on it as well as the roll cage and other items... I just don't wantto loose everything if they happen to take it from me claiming something onit is stolen... I will not be able to get a salvage title as planned so Ihave to go for the self build title. This means it must be 'ready' for theroad.

All I can make out on the starter housing is it was a VW remanuf. starter that has a 311911 part number stamped on it... Can't make out any more.
