I need some ideas on what to cover my heater ducts inder the rear seat with. The factory insulation stuff after 30 years is totally falling apart. I know there is about 250 degrees coming through there, so I don't want to catch fire.
What can I wrap these with? Ideas anyone?

Insulation wrap for home heating ducts might work. My right side one is gone, too, due to battery acid.
I just assumed there was never anything on these as I never had anything when I got the car used back in the mid 70s...
As I don't drive it in the winter these days, it is not a big concern to me at this time of course.
I got a roll of insulation from Home Depot. It was in the duct work section and is in a small bag. The roll is about 1 foot wide and 8 foot long and about 1" thick. It is fiberglass insulation. I also got some big zip ties to hold it in place. It's pretty close to like the original.
