Maybe a bit off topic, but due to the huge availabillity of vw parts here in South Africa, i was wondering if i could make myself some extra cash. Are there any parts that are hard to get, or otherwise worth sourcing and ebaying? Of course i am talking aircooled, not watercooled crap like you find on ebay at this moment. Might be off topic, but, i need money, bus needs sandblasting. Makes sense. And today i got a full gasket set for my engine rebuild. Came in a small box, 3 bags, one with metal gaskets, one with rubbers and rings, one with paper gaskets. Note on the box, made in brazil, hope those will last. Paid about R100, count on $10. Cheap, normal or expensive? What do those go for in the us? As well, i have a burned valve. Cost of one intake valve, R45 , about $4.5 Ripoff? made in brazil as well.
