NOW after replacing the fragged roller brearings up front, a couple kids ran into traffic at an interesection. It was a real showstopper for all the cars as they all slammed on their brakes. I had to lock 'em up. The kids are okay.
But now my front brakes are dragging. Goshdarn, I tell ya...
Have you tried readjusting them? Also what condition are yor rubber lines, is it possible that they have collapsed?

Aw, I'm just whining. I'll jack it up, remove the wheels and adjust the brakes again.
Do you think it's okay to drill the drum backs so I can adjust 'em with the wheels on? The '58 has the holes in the front and the hole is covered by the BRMs.
