OT: Head scratcher

Rust happens here in Chicago, IL USA. :-( I am not sure what this 356 Conv D looks like after 2 decades from when I re-installed the engine and looked at the front end. It has always been stored after getting beautifully painted RED, but has not had the top reinstalled nor driven. I think it needs a link/king pin job and a new muffler on it IIRC.

That is all I remember until I see it again and take some pictures. I guess if this 356 was perfect it would possibly be worth $125K USD.

doing an ohms check on a coil is alway a good way to see if it is good or not.

Thanx for the reply. A Speedster might be worth a tad shy of 125k USD but not a regular convertible, at least from what I have seen. Pictures would be great, he is not buying a car on this side of christmas, maybe something modern in January if he does not find a classic he likes.

Currency convertion is dead easy as long as you have a Google searchfield. Simply type: "amount" "currency-code" in "currency-code" E.g.: "90000 Eur in USD" which today is 115.929,- U.S. dollars.
