Hello, Son tried to replace turn signal switch on his 1977 standard beetle. When reassembling, cannot get pieces to fit together so that horn is making proper contact. The space is about 1/8" too large and we have been unable to find any pictures that show all of the pieces as they should be to double check. Any suggestions?? Thanks again!!!!

If the gap is too big, you have to adjust the column itself. There are 2 bolts which hold the column to the underside of the dash. loosen them and slide column toward you.
