I don't have any bars for you but I have a '69 double layer springplate beetle, and can tell you that it uses the 26" torsion bar.

I think that the bar you are looking for would be found on a '73 and later car with the single layer spring plates, that's what my '74 Thing has.

No the 73' and up use the 26+" bars too :( I have a 73' and I pulled a set out of a 72' which both have the 26's. This is really odd, you would think that a companies like Sway-a-way and Bugpack (well maybe not bugpack) would have the correct info. Allthough knowing that the Thing uses the

24" is a plus, I may be able to find some of them.
