Replaced Mastercylinder need help

I have a 73 bug. I replaced the master cylinder and wheel cylinders. I have gone through a quart of brake fluid trying to bleed the air out. I am using a mighty mac pump to suck the lines. Is this just a slow process? Will eventually all the air be removed. Am I missing something?

It can be difficult to get the M/C "primed".

Try this instead: Loosen all the fittings and switches on the M/C just enough to allow fluid to leak out. Wait until all of them drip some, then re-tighten.

With a helper, bleed each wheel cyl manually: Open bleeder. Press pedal down and hold. Close bleeder. Repeat.

You should be able to see all fluid/no air at each wheel by now.

If the pedal remains low, don't assume there is air in the system. Usually, it simply means the shoes are not tight against the drums and the M/C has to travel too far as a result.
