Using your VW in movies or commercials

I would like to hear people's experience on the news group. I have been approached a couple times regarding the use of my 67 Beetle in either commercials or movies. It would be fun to see my bug in a movie. But the lingering doubts persist. Will I get to drive the car? Will some non caring movie type beat the crap out of it? I think as these cars become less common and time goes on, we VW owners will be asked to do this more frequently. I can imagine the scene now, Starsky and Hutch are being chased by bad guys and they leap off the roof of the building and soften their landing on the roof of my poor car! no!!!!!!!!!!!!!! let me know what you have heard.Fred67bug
