Can the driver and passenger seats in a 240 be swapped?

Yes, but the knobs will be on the wrong side. Why would you want to swap the seats? Just get a junkyard seat with decent foam and rebuild the seat you have, it's not difficult and you'll end up with two good seats.
Its strictly a commuter car and I am the only one in it so i would rather put that money towards badly needed suspension parts.
