Hi folks...
I know someone with an 850 (automatic gearbox). Every now and again the car will stall and not restart unless left to rest for a few minutes. Volvo charged them a couple of hundred $ but they did not fix it.
Any ideas?

Can you give us some more information. When does your car stall? Does it stall right after startup? Or does it stall while you are driving down the highway?
One possible culprit is the fuel pump relay (103), especially if there are no fault codes.
If your stalling is like someone turned off the electrical, try the fuel pump relay. This cured my car's stalling.
