89 240 windshield leak

Install new style windshield it looks much better & less problems with the clips that hold down the chrome trim around glass & iirc the part # for the windshield changes to the new style Glenn K Volvo Certified Technician ASE Certified Technician

I've always thought the new style windshield looked a lot nicer, not to mention it produces less wind noise. If you'd like to retain the old style though it should still work, is there any body rust around the glass? Sometimes the ridge it sits in gets pitted and then water leaks.

how difficult is it to replace the windshield on an '89 240 wagon? Mine is pitted so badly that it's really hard to see clearly when driving into the sun! I've been thinking of replacing it if not too expensive or difficult...
