Cold-air intake to improve fuel-economy

Dec 04, 2010 2 Replies

Hello,

Any recommendations regarding cold-air intake that improves fuel economy by five to ten percent, yet leaves horsepower unchanged?

What is necessary for cold-air intake that improves fuel economy on

1997 850 Volvos?

Thank-you

Cold air intake does not improve fuel economy. It can give you more horsepower.

Are you asking whether it would be a good idea to bypass the intake air heater assembly?
