Good bye Volvo..

I just sold my 94 850 turbo wagon at 230K miles last Wednesday. It was a great car, but I won't be buying a new one, due to lack of affordable service documentation and DTC information.. (I sent my full set of service manuals away with the car.)

New car will be Audi A3, 3.2 DSG, which was supposed to arrive this week, but an hour after they buyers drove off in the 850, the Audi salesman called to say the new A3 was delayed in port for 2-3 weeks!

At least it's good motorcycling weather for a while in Atlanta.

3.2?

Why?

The 2.0 Turbo w/ DSG is the better choice.

Still, a good choice.

Good Response to a dumb statement!!

I'll be following as soon as I can afford to - never again a Volvo.

Much lighter and sportier, cheaper and better fuel economy. Thats why in my opinion. 3.2 is not bad, but not worth the extra cost. My choice of car in that segment would be a BMW 325 or 330.

Best luck with the Audi...it looks to be a sweet ride. from my research though the 2.0 direct injection looks like a better deal, what made you choose the 3.2?

In any case Audi has turned around 180 degrees and I think you wil have many trouble free miles!

best luck!
