Bought a 242 new in 1978 and drove it 11 years. Wished I had never parted with it but now I have just gotten a 94 940 turbo wagon only 109,000 miles, I'm very happy.
It had a very slight grin on the front (sort of looked like Jean Chrétien) but with a replacement bumper it's all smiles again.
Volvo replacement bumper came with scoop but had only one driving light. So I am looking for a (right hand) match. It is of German decent and has a Volvo # 3529137
I thought that perhaps some of the European folks might set me on track with some internet prospects.
Been reading the group for sometime now and have really enjoyed following Jamie through his restoration. Great photos Jamie, by no means was I board.
Saturday I will tear out the interior and start the cleaning process.
