Has anyone ever used the roof rack plugs sold by IPD? Any info on the ease of install and the quality of the product would be appreciated.

Absolutely excellent. Had a set for a 945 as thieves had wrenched the roof rack from the roof. Made better by addition of a little silicon sealant if holes are distorted like mine were.
