My daughter just got a new S-40 with the premium radio package. The FM radio reception seems very poor with the volume dropping then coming back up and with one side or the other dropping out. Volvo has come out with a new antenna located as about a 3" molded mound/probe above and just forward of the rear window. Does anyone know if this new type of antenna is having problems or do you suppose we have an internal radio problem?
I'm trying to get as much information and data as possible before I approach the service department. Thanks in advance.
