Hi folks i need your opinion. I have CEL on my car,so i took to VW dealer. They came out with a list of parts to change:

-Air Filter

-MAF

-Feul Filter

-Spark Plugs

-Polen Filter

-Ground BAttery Cable.

-Timing Belt. the ask for 800$ to do all that.

the thing is my air filter and gas filter are new, 2 month old. the MAf is under warranty, but they do not want to change, they are saying i have to change the ground cable first, or the problem of MAF gona come back. is that tru?? the are asking 200 to change the ground cable. and they are saying there a misfire. the care has 73000 KM thanks

I think you a good mark for lots of service money. You should use Kung Fu on those capitalistic pigs and teach them a lesson.

Only got one thing to say. FIND ANOTHER DEALER! Or tell them to do the warranty work only and run fast.

change your ground cable yourself if it really looks bad. then take it back just to cheese 'em off.

Of course, if you value your car you won't want to cheese off the dealer, so taking it elsewhere might be a good idea.

good luck,

nate
