Hi, My 86gti (155k) was bucking in first gear at low rpm's for a few days. Then today the car died while declerating. wouldn't start. towed home. When I try to start occasionally the car engine fires up for a second only to promply die.
Has anyone had similar problems? I'm thinking fuel problem. Fuel filter or fuel pump or fuel transfer pump?
I'm not really sure the 'bucking' problem is even related to the 'failure to start' problem.
