my 98 Jetta's headlights keep on shutting off. this morning, the windshield wipers got stock for few minuts, and then started again, but the headlights been freaking out for the past 10 days... any ideas..?/ I'm thinking relays... but which..?/ cheers

I'd guess the ignition switch. There are no relays in the headlamp system except for the DRL relay.
AFAIK and it could also be a possibly bad switch to handbrake, but that should cause the BRAKE light to light up on the dash also.
