Greetings, I have a 1990 VW Jetta GL (German built) and I am wondering if it is possible to replace the stock power steering rack with a manual rack.
Has anyone ever done this before? If so, what does it take to accomplish such a task (i.e.-- do I need anything else like new boots, tie rod ends, rrack mounts, etc.)?
