I need to change the timing belt on our 98 Jetta with 91k miles. Our previous A3 had only one timing belt at 80k miles without the tensioner or water pump(dealer courtesy) car was totalled at 130K. Any ideas on the tensioner and water pump while doing this job? I have the first A3 Bentley not the one for early A3 series. Anyone want to point out any pitfalls, special/ necessary tools related to this project? Thanks for the advice.
