I just aquired a 85 cabriolet fell in love with them since i saw them in that 80's movie i think it was 16 candles ??? Ok problem is this (or at least the ones i can remember) Need new motor or whatever is called for the driver door the one that makes the window go up and down with the handle it was holding up together with epoxy and had to go in to replace the speakers and Fup that one that was working ok till i took it apart....nothing new with me..lol Second the locks don't work, car is always unlock because i don't have the little knobs on the corner of the doors and after getting inside the door for the speaker found out there is a part broken in there , cant even lock them with the key ....parts for this where??? Third transmission works fine except for 4th gear almost always it grinds unless i get it in 4th and hold the clutch down for a little and then it will not grinds...reason????
4th..How difficult is it to replace the convertible canvas thingie???have some more but i guess i will be posting a follow up some time later lets take some things at a time . Also any web site i can find body kits for this car ??
