I had the chance to get a 1980 dasher wagon about a year ago, but it slipped away..
Does anyone still have one of these, or did they end up like the vw 412?

How odd that you should say that. Tonght on the way home from work I noticed a white dasher in really nice condition. I noticed it because my dad owned one about 20 years ago.
Yes you could get them with a diesel. Also the Quntanum was available with a turbo diesel.
