Sorry, but this might be a dumb question, but here goes:
I just purchased a '94 Passat GLX Sedan. I have seen B3 and B4 thrown around. I've been looking these up on the Internet, and I am finding B3 is for 90-94 and B4 is for 94-97. OK, so what is mine?

B5 is the current body style, so if you have a 94 that looks like a 95-97 passat, its a b4.
If it has a grille, it is a B4. The B3s were the ones with the flat front, and no grille except for a veltilated VW symbol.
