my wifes 2000 V6 (48,000 miles) passat wagons batt./alt. light came on on the way home ,serpentine belt is on ,looks good,cant see anything wrong.what else might cause this light to come on and stay on.............just wondering if anyone had any ideas before she takes it to her import auto mech.
