So my wife was driving her 1998 GMC Jimmy home last night, and out of nowhere for about 2 seconds all the gauges (tach, spedometer) dropped down to 0 , but then came right back up. She said there was no loss in speed, the lights stayed on fine, and now this morning her service engine light soon came on, anyoen have any ideas as to what might have caused this?
