I have a 2004 TDI, which requires 505.01 oil. I live in a small West Texas town that has no VW dealers. Normally I call the nearest dealer (Abilene) and they will mail me the oil and filter. Well, my wife drove to Chicago last month and while there, she picked up Castrol TXT 505.01 oil. Unfortunately she was short one quart. Now I am trying to find someone that carries this stuff. I searched the Internet, but nothing. The VW dealer carries the 5 quart container and it is not labled Castrol. I only need 1 Quart.
Does anyone know where I can get this stuff? My last resort will be to call the dealer in Chicago and see if they will mail me one quart.
