I'm currently looking for a 1.8 litre, 16-valve motor (basically the unit that came in U.S. Scirocco's till' 1988). I'd be interested in a used one - we were planning on rebuilding the engine anyhow, but I'm wondering if it would be possible to order a new or rebuilt unit from VW? Otherwise, where could I locate one?
