Golf 1.6SR

Hi,

I'm looking at a 1998 Golf IV Trendline.

It's a 1.6L manual transmission.

On the motor it has written 1.6 SR.

Does anyone know what the SR stands for and if there is other types of 1.6L that aren't SRs?
