I had to check it out just to see if it was my old car... I sold it to a guy in NC who then sold it to buy something else... anyway it's not my old car but a heck of a lot nicer! I always like the early roccets, wish I could find one in decent shape. My dream VW would be an early Scirocco S...

Heh, I sold my old one to a guy that brought a trailer down from NJ (to Maryland). Wonder what ever happened to it.

Likewise, I loved that little car. Mine had been 'clipped' while overseas in Germany and the repair failed (after another 60k miles). But it was a heck of a lot of fun while it lasted.

Nate, just like Buttercup ( my '60 Studebaker Lark hardtop) I sold it before I was really ready. When someone offers you a fair profit, well, ya just do it. Gotta admit, those springs and Konis were hell on a gravel road, but a blast on asphalt!

lol!, I spent some time trying to dig up a reference to "My First..." from many years ago, I seem to remember a Sony Walkman or maybe some other device that was all big buttons and brite colors.

Unfortunately THIS was what I came choose out of all the Google choices- partly because it's transportation based. :])

Enjoy the Roc, when you get a chance c'mon over to:

Check out the mail list if you like.
