Due to a physical handicap, I find that the gas pedal and brake pedal on my
2003 Passat GLX are spaced too far apart vertically. That is, the gas pedal is too far back from the brake pedal. It's not that I can't manage it, but it gets tiring in stop and go traffic.
I would like to raise the gas pedal's position so that it moves closer to me (farther from the firewall). I know devices like these exist for people who would otherwise be sitting too close to the airbag. What are these devices like? Where can I find them? I've done some googling and haven't found anything.
Note, I only want to move the gas pedal. It's the relative position between gas and brake that I find difficult to manage.
