Did you have or purchase it with a warranty and how long have you had the car?

I am in Canada and this is the first car I have ever owned.

***How short of time that's a very "unclear" statement. And I have seen VW owners go through 3 clutches in 20,000 miles. 99.9% of the time the clutch goes bad because of the owners driving habbits.
The car always had problems with first gear and a very stiff clutch. I never
