i took my clutch assembly out a few days ago, and i forgot how the pressure plate was positioned when i took it off. is there a way to find out how to put this back on so i know where top dead center is? or does it really matter?

It usually only goes a certain way according to the pins or bolts. :-) check it out and let us know what you find. later, dave
Dave's right, you can't do it any other way. Just make sure the clutch 'flywheel this side' is positioned properly :)

it only goes on one way, i just didnt take the time to look at it.
