Transmission Problem

I have auto Transmission shifting problem with 1st and 2nd gear. Some time shift ok and some time do not shift well and get rough. Most of the time it happened when I make turns. If I continue to gas the car while turning it is kind of ok but bit rough but if I release the gas and then push back again then it get really rough. There is no code showing up. I had Transmission oil changed last year and car runs much better after then but still not perfect. I drove 10,000 miles since last Tran. Oil change. The problem being always around every since I bought the car some time it get really rough and other time it is just ok.

I also noticed if car is in 1st gear and there is slope (up) then rpm goes really high before it shifts to 2nd gear???

Any input? What I can do to have this annoying thing fix. There are no codes...

Low on fluid?

Thanks Woodchuck for the input. How difficult it is to add some more fluid?

Best way is have a scanner that can read the transmission temperature, but a poor mans way is use a point and shoot infra-red temperature gun.

1- start engine 2-remove 5mm plug on pan 3-wait for trans fluid to hit 30degrees Celsius and if fluid doesn't start dripping out add some via fill tube.

Sounds like it is not doityourslef thing. Will take to service and have them check level. Thank you for advice.
