95 4x4 sport lower ball joint

I was doing some routine checking on my truck to day. Found out I have some up and down play on the passenger side lower ball joint. The driver side is ok. I did some research on the group, looks like I need a 2 jaw puller to relieve the torsion bar tension and a ball joint service set to replace the ball joint. You can rent one in the USA, but here in Toronto, I don't think so. Does anybody from Toronto know where I can rent one or purchase one here and what is the price for it? I think the garages here would charge big bucks for this job, I might as well try to do it myself and get some experience with it. I have never done ball joints before, this one would be a challenge.

Have you tried Canadian Tire. I know that they will load out tools. Never gave it a try yet, but I would give them a try.

C Tire had the free loaner for the 2,3 jaw puller, pickle fork and the wheel hub 32 mm socket, but no ball joint service set. Bummer. Called parts store around town, they wanted from $230.00 to $350.00 for a ball joint service set. I am going to check if some garages willing to remove and install it for a price after I take the lower control arm out. Thanks for the advice.
