I recently posted that the drivers door central locking motor, on my Rover
115 had packed up. However, every time it rains, it works again, although a little bit slower than the other three doors!Any thoughts?

Keep a hose-pipe handy, perhaps?
Lubrication?

Dodgy earth somewhere that gets wet?
Si
I'll strip it down, clean it and perhaps some WD40...

LOL, I thought that was one ;-)
Yes, then after WD40, apply some oil or light grease. WD40 will only lean it, and leave a film that will attract more dust.
The rubber seals connecting to the door frame often let in water and get corroded. Unplug, peel back the seals and give the pins a good clean with wet/dry and a dose of WD40.
