HELP ! Mitsubishi L200 Brake discs ???? BUT FROM WHAT?

Hi All,

I hope someone can help me hear as i have drawn a blank everywhere else.

I have a UK model L200 Pickup truck. Its 1998 and non-import model with black bumpers.

So far as i know the discs are on it from new and standard...?

However none of the shops ones fit.

Here are the measurements..

DIA 255mm Centre 76mm Overall Height 36mm

6 hole centres.

According the Mit , it should have 14 inch discs on it, but the ones i have to use are about 10inchs (sorry don't know inchs.)

Any ideas?

The ones for the L300 1986 are the right dia and centre, but they are 40mm heigh and if i fit them the disc is against the cover and the bolts of no thread showing on the hub.

HELP !!!!!

They make a hole range of standard and performance brake rotors for just about every make and model and their catalogue contains all the key dimensions for each Mitsubishi model.

Hi,

Had a look but all i found were a few PDF's. I was hoping someone might recognise the dimentions and let me know what its from, as i'm sure its not the L200 its on now.

Is it a 4 wheel drive model ?? as some Mitusbishi's also came out in the L300, and the brake setup is different to the L200, most ppl here in Australia, swapped the L200 brake system for the L300 as they were much better and never had problems as did the L200

Check out the L300

You were supposed to look through the PDFs, particularly the International Catalogues!! I looked through the Mitsubishis and saw no 6 hole disc that was 36mm high. Most 6 holes appear to be around 45mm which you seem to have discovered. I suspect that vehicle may have brakes from a totally different brand and there is a remote chance it is possible if you bought it second hand.

The catalogue shows where DBA take their measurements. Look through the Japanese brands in particular and you may find the previous owner has replaced the struts and brakes (does the L200 have struts??) with those from a Toyota for example. If this is the case I am not even going to speculate why but stranger things have happened. Here in Australia, early '70s Galants and Lancers modified for rallying sometimes had Holden Torana limited slip diff centres and Toyota axles fitted!!!!

Looking through the catalogue I find an Isuzu Rodeo R9 (96 - 02) on page 42 to be a likely candidate with a 257mm dia, 36mm height and 6 holes.

Have a look at the L200s and Tritons in this catalogue. Some of those look pretty close.

All.

I have had a digital micrometre on it now

21.6 mm disc 45mm total width

87 mm hub hole

255mm total diameter.

i have looked in the book and i have a feeling they are for the L300 crew cab.
