My '03 S/C seems to shift harder than my wife's '03 Xterra. Hers is very smooth while mine seems to buck a little especially when under light pedal load. And it tachs up to 3500 to 4000 before shifting. Does this sound a little odd?
Also, the AC compressor cuts on and off about every 25 seconds. A call to the service department resulted in an answer that this was normal but I don't believe it. And when the compressor turns off it sounds like a diesel truck using its exhaust brakes, just not as loud. I also get a slight (relatively low frequency) whistling sound from under the hood only when the AC is on and only at low speeds.
I'm planning on bringing these up next week when I take it in for an oil change. Anyone else ever had any of these symptoms?
