Odd problem with 2003 Launch 9-3

I've been having a strange issue with my little SAAB...

Every fe wmonths, the driver's seat can't be adjusted anymore via it's power controls... This always times itself with one of the power windows no longer functioning and/or a power door lock stops working automatically as well.

I've taken the car (it's a lease) toa dealer 4 times in the last two years for that issue (sometimes the window/door that stops working is different, but it's always the drivers power controls that stop working...

Has anyone ever heard of this? the dealer just resets the computer and the problem "goes away" but I'm not exactly happy with that solution. Heck, I'm never happy if someone can't tell me exactly what was wrong and how they permanently fixed it. =)

On the plus side, they are letting me use a 9-2x as a loaner. I don't think it's the AWD model though... Shucks..

I have the same issues with my 2004 Arc. I usually unplug the relevant fuse and it resets things. It is obviously a software issue and the dealer is not able to do anything until SAAB/GM comes up with an update or upgrade.

My biggest beef is with the auto wiper (I actually did not want it, it just happen to be on the one car I liked). It is very erratic, in constant rain and speed the wiper might go 1 sweep in 5 seconds to 5 in one second. Being speed sensitive it stops once you stop at a light and that is especially dangerous at night as you may not see a pedestrian. So I have to turn it on and off before moving. Damn awful.

You probably have read the parody about Micro$oft making a car, well here's an automaker designing software.
