brake caliper stuck

i was changing the pads on my 92' sl-2 and when i went to go clamp the caliper pistopn back in it wouldnt move at all?? i dont know if it has something to do with the emergency cable. it wont budge so theres gotta be somethin to it ecause both sides are like that.?

sorry it is a 94 and it is the rear brakes...

It isn't stuck if you notice the the pistons have grooves in them. You have to use a special brake tool to rotate them back into place. You may have damaged your caliper by using a c-clamp if you put too much pressure on it.

You can purchase the tool from autozone or advance auto or the like it is about 10 bucks.

You can also use a needle-nose pliers. Place them in the indentations in the piston and turn.

True you could use needle nose but isn't the fun of working on your car, the excuse to buy new and different tools. Works great for my wife lol
