I can't really answer exactly, but I can tell you that as a Detroiter = you won't see many Subies around these parts.

It's difficult to say until you're standing at the car rental counter. For example, I went to Seattle and was able to rent a Subaru Outback instead of the standard Ford Taurus because I saw it in their book at the counter and asked for it. This was at Hertz. Hertz doesn't list any Subarus available on their website..

But, Subies are very popular in Seattle and not very popular in Detroit Metro area, where I live. Nonetheless, I own two of them. :)

Hi June: Well, I got a Legacy GT at Suburban in 2000, and a Forester XSp at Ann Arbor in 2003. I have had the Legacy serviced at Livonia Autoplex (which recently dropped the Suby franchise!)

I went to Suburban because it is the closest to me, and still it's at = least 1/2 hour away. I'm in Chesterfield Township. I wish they'd put a = dealer in closer to me. It's a big pain.=20
