One owner '87 Golf replaced and rebuilt automatic transmission 50,000 kms ago still good but hestitates on acceleration a little bit.
New water pump new belts new battery all withing 6 months or so.new front tires sun roof doesnt leak new exhaust bits and Boge suspension
Bad news is probable rack and pinion problem (quote was 400 to fix) and a little frame rust, and door bottoms open to wind here and there.Underside was waxoyled in 1987 and is rust free though Engine has around 290,000 on it (never commuted its a REAL city rat Golf) and is still strong.Theres a Thule roof rack on it and a tow bar (Never really used )
Its going to VW heaven in a few days Unless you save it. Its in Toronto and can be driven to your place within reason. Its a racer... its a bunch of spares... Its its its $250.00!!!!!!!!!! OBO
